It doesn't get much more entertaining than this! Korngold's concerto was composed for Heifetz, who made a sensational (mono) recording of it back in the early 1950s. Dismissed at the time by music critics as a piece of sentimental schlock, it's now rightly regarded as a masterpiece, and it was this recording that did the trick. Coupled with the attractive Goldmark concerto, this disc provides eloquent testimony of Perlman's work on behalf of unjustly neglected repertoire and remains among his most important and delightful releases. --David Hurwitz

This may also be the often released "Boston Tea Party" tapes from February 1970. These songs have shown up on multiple comps over the years. The Snapper 3 disc set from a few years back is the best so far. Great new mixes--nice mastering and a wonderful performance. Peter Green left the band a couple of months later but during these shows, he was still really putting a lot into it.

Wild Life is the debut album by Wings and the third studio album by Paul McCartney since the breakup of the Beatles. The album was recorded during July–August 1971 at Abbey Road Studios by McCartney and his wife Linda along with session drummer Denny Seiwell, who they had worked with on the previous album, Ram, and Denny Laine, formerly of the Moody Blues. It was released by Apple Records on 7 December, in both the UK and US, to lukewarm critical and commercial reaction.

Anna Mae Bullock was born November 26, 1939 in a hospital in Brownsville, a short drive from Nut Bush, where she grew up. She would eventually marry songwriter and musician Ike Wister Turner taking the name Tina Turner. In November 1973 the duo released "Nutbush City Limits." Far from being a city, Nut Bush (or Nutbush) is a hamlet on Highway 19, Tennessee. (thanks, Alexander Baron - London, England)

The album was originally released in 1997 with the CDs all packaged individually in jewel cases, complete with full artwork. The original issue also features a poster, a backstage pass, keyring and a few other extras depending on the region. When the album was reissued in 2003 it was packaged in a large digipak, similar to a longbox, which featured either four- or five-disc trays. The four-tray versions contained the remastered Back in Black in its own case with booklet. All versions of the box feature a large book full of liner notes and rare pictures of the band, mostly from before Scott's death.
