In a remarkable deviation from the conventional, Mirka ventured into uncharted territories 15 years ago by birthing the widely acclaimed heavy rock band for children, ’Hevisaurus.’ This innovative endeavor not only captivated young audiences but also earned Mirka the prestigious Emma Award in 2011, the Finnish equivalent of a Grammy, underscoring his versatility and impact across diverse musical spheres.
Fueling his boundless creativity, Mirka conceptualized the idea of a solo album, giving birth to the inaugural opus, ”Come One Come All,” released through Frontiers Music in 2021. In September 2024, Mirka published an official statement that Circus of Rock, has officially transformed into a real band.
He got the legendary Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Dokken, Ted Nugent and more) as vocalist, and third album ”Hellfire” will be released with an official band in June 2025.
