This album was recorded and released in 1972.
This was the last studio album of the band before they split - they recorded an excellent live album from their farewell concerts that may be the best recording overall from this band.
Other than most German bands of the time, Frumpy had nothing in common with Krautrock even when organ player Jean-Jacques Kravetz lead the band into longer improvisations on earlier albums. However, on this final album Kravetz only appears on some tracks and his influence on the songwriting is minimal. Singer Inga Rumpf is in full control and she leads the band into straight rock with soulful tendencies from her great voice.
Frumpy is at the top of their musical interplay on all six tracks, this is without doubt their best and most consistent album. And although the band would break up, Inga Rumpf and some of the musicians would appear just a few months later as new band Atlantis to pick up the legacy.
